New to me and my wife, we got this so we can explore and we can't go anywhere. But that gives us time to fix some things, like led bulbs, new tv's, new stereo if it gets here, paint the propane tank, still need to figure out how to remove the dead backup camera from the dash so the new one can go there

Yes, it is a shame to have a nice new toy and not be able to use it right away. I look at it as a tradeoff for not being dead? I get to go out and change the oil instead!

Your first priorities should be your roof and windshield. Leaks can be disastrous. Read up all you can on Winnebago windshield leaks. Personally, I've found that a strip of Eternabond tape across the top of the windshield moulding solved my problem. There's a current thread on taking care of the roof edges:

If your convertor is original, you should seriously consider replacing it with one that has modern multi-stage charging. Your batteries will appreciate it. Mine is located under the stove cabinet. Here's what I used as a replacement:

I forgot to mention hydraulic leaks. I know the early 2000 vintage rigs had issues with the ferrules attaching the fittings to the hoses, causing leaks. I had to replace four of my hoses.
