We never know what the solution might be until we get there. So we have to go with the clues the poster can give us.
In this case most of the solutions can be correct but there is one big clue that drives me to think it is the air admittance valve as it is the one thing that is located inside the cabinet. The poster does say the smell is much stronger when they open the cabinet!
Since there is no obvious connection between the space under the cabinet and the black tank or stool, it seems like too large a jump to think the smell goes from the black tank or stool, down and across to then come up under the cabinet.
Smell can be tricky but that really seems like a bit too paranoid for me to think a smell is that dedicated to getting even with the OP!
A couple reasons I do not think it is the grommet for a drain into the black tank as circled is because that is not a drain nor the black tank! The connection circled is the vent to suck fumes up and out of the grey tank to the roof.
That is where the discussion got into looking at the vent as it should have enough draft like a chimney to suck fumes up to the roof and away!
But I still feel it will be a stuck air valve letting fumes come up under the cabinet!
But I'm not inclined to tell the OP what they have to do as it IS them doing the work!
