120V outlet not on inverter

We have a 2025 View. We bought a wireless monitor for power and temperature so when we are away from View we know if the inside is OK for our pet. I have tried every outlet including one on outside and all are on inverter so when shore power is lost they all stay on as long as battery holds out. How can I hook up monitor so I see shore power loss easily? Thanks for any help with this.

The monitor lets us know the temperature and if there is a power loss when we are away from the camper. The A/c would not be working and we would need to get back so the inside temp does not get too high for our dog. With all the outlets on inverter if power is out the monitor would only alert us once the batteries are down and the inverter quits. I need a way to monitor shore power only inside the View. I may tie it into the microwave plug since that does not work on the inverter.

I get that (I have a Waggle monitor). If you're on shore power that's feeding 120v to all of your outlets. With the inverter on, you're feeding 120 to your outlets (my Vita only gets inverter power to some outlets) via the batteries. Since you're getting the 120v from the shore power you don't need the inverter at all; the inverter is for when you're not hooked up to shore power and need 120. With the inverter off, if your shore power goes out you'll get notified immediately.

We use mywaggle.com to monitor the temperature in our RV for our pet. It uses cellphone towers to communicate to your phone thru the app. The monitor has its own battery that allows it to continue to communicate with your phone if you RV AC power is lost. It will notify you if you lose AC power. Very reasonable prices IMO. Plus you can turn it off when not traveling. We've been using it for years. Great support too. Good luck

The devil is often in the details and we can't really look at the wiring and be sure without knowing WHICH 2025 view you have as there are different models.
But there seems to be different places one could monitor the AC power. The question might be in how easy/hard it might be on different models/floorplans of that RV.
Some items that may help is that the air is NOT on the inverter in most cases and there is a connection that might be reached over the frig??
Or if handier to get to, the load center is another place to hook a monitor before the power goes to the the inverter.
Maybe placing a fuse at the load center can connect to AC power there would fit better?
That would allow you to have somewhat more safety for the pet as you could then let the inverter take over "some" of the functions. However this inverter being powered will not help with cooling as the air is not on the inverter in most RV!

But the devil IS in the details of what you have and what fits best!
