“New to me” first RV

On a limited budget, I purchased this fella: 2002 Journey DL 36LD; took a flight to Texas and drove it back to Mississippi. I’m full of questions....

I did some the thing similar, bought a 2003 32t in Phoenix drive our toad down and drove it home, my first pusher, it's been sooo fun

I was really nervous, all I had to go on was some front and rear photos and a few interior photos to see what I was getting into. My only criteria was basically it being a diesel pusher. It took about 100 miles to get use to, starting my drive straight through Houston around noon time

Next thing I knew, I was in Jackson Mississippi resting at a Wal-Mart

We were able to drive and look before, we decided, but it was beautiful, we're very happy, I have some "piloting " experience, in my parents class a, their gas bounder, convinced me to never have a gas class a, diesel pusher or bust, we are sw Colorado and need truck frame cornering, and diesel hill climbing power

Clean radiators are a must, drain air tanks, enjoy the ride, I'm going to.

The previous owner had meticulous service records, was serviced this summer. I’m adding the Winegard TOGO wifi this week. I spent last week stripping it and putting on a few coats of wax.

And it's not a 50 footer, it looks nice close up..
I'm beyond happy so far, absolutely everything works...so far...lol

Nice looking rig, jsims! We've got some polishing to do on ours. Enjoy the Journey. They're surprisingly smooth. I had the opportunity to drive ours while my dad owned it. Took him to car shows and such, so I had some on-board classes, so to speak for about 4 years before he passed away. We are now putting his coach to good use. Have fun in yours and watch that left rear side on turns. I took out my first gate post on my first run.

I’m adding the Winegard TOGO wifi this week.

Have you heard? Just announced in the last day or so, ATT has dropped the $360/yr unlimited data plan as of Jan 14th. You have to establish the plan before that date.

Also, next Jan you will not be able to renew it. The new ATT plans for it are ridiculous.

The whole Togo product is screwed now.

I saw that, what a bummer, hopefully Winegard will strike a deal with another provider. I have until next November to sort it out ��
