Looking for some advice on a window repair. The metal guide that is attached to the glass pane of a window has detached. I am looking for your sage experience on reattaching it to the glass pane. I called Lippert and they were of no help in finding a solution…at the factory this rail is adhered...

The sliding portion of the window sits on this so it can slide smoothly, but it is broken or missing in many spots. It's plastic and C-shaped. It has holes where it kind of clips into the metal frame. I've tried searching for it using many different terms but it never quite comes up.
