I have a 2016 Journey 40R which has the full wall slide. Bringing the wall slide in I heard a couple of loud bangs and the after end of the was jerking and out of sink with the front. When I got home and open up the slide the same thing happened only worst.
Inspection of the aft roller and motor I found the spur gear had sheared of some teeth. In the picture I am going to post you can see the hitch pin is missing allowing the bearings to come out.
I order all the parts from winnebago and it was less than $100. About 1 hour of work and all fixed.
Very simple process unhook the electrical wiring, remove the 4 mounting brackets bolts the entire motor and bracket will come out. I put it all on my work bench very easy repair. Saved a lot I am sure.
I can't seam to find a way to post the pictures. If you let me know if you would like to them.
