To seal the crimp connections from the elements, I thinned some 3M 5200 with white gasoline (Coleman fuel) and used a syringe with a long, large diameter needle to fill each of the 104 crimps. Once...
After several hours lying on the engine with a crimping tool in hand, and a total of 104 crimps, the squirrel-eaten wires were replaced. Saved about $1,200 doing it myself.
