After several hours lying on the engine with a crimping tool in hand, and a total of 104 crimps, the squirrel-eaten wires were replaced. Saved about $1,200 doing it myself.

    Wow! That is both an act of love and madness, but my hat's off to you!

    Now, we all know good crimps with the right tool, force and connector are gas-tight and better than soldering......but: are you going to seal any of those 52 barrel connectors?
