My album
Wiring Nightmare I labeled all the connections with color tape. I am not sure if it really helped but it was a piece of mind.
Top holding bracket. There were two of these brackets, I had to cut one as the "star" screws were stripped. Gain access by removing the cover on roof, 4 screws then I choose to just cut back the wire...
Roller Dolly. This is a god save. Make a dolly big enough for the frig to sit on. My only mistake was not making it tall enough for the frig to slide out onto. Was short about 1 1/2 inch. Over all...
Prep new cooling unit Per the video provided. I had alittle product left in the caulking tube.
Old unit residue The top panels cleaned very easy, while the bottome was alittle harder as I did not want to damage the fins. A little residue was left on the bottom panels
Old unit ready for removal Once you get the screws out and the wires disconnected lift it off. DW and I were able to lift and take out the door without any problem
Inside box
The Black Metal on the side is a Winnebago idea. Two large bolts on each side hold frig. in.
Foam edges Make sure you over foam! Its easier to trim off over run than it is to add.
Cooling pads The cooling pads on frig. have to be as clean and flat as possible. It was easy to clean with a scraper and shop vac
Cabinet Insulation. We decided to insulate the cabinet with 1/2 Foil back foam. It took a little more than a 4x8 sheet. Used liquid nail to hold on
Back Panel. After trimming the foam we foiled taped all the edges. You will need to purchase a roll of tape as foil provided is not enough. We retaped the edges of the box also and any worn spots.
