Thanks,

I fixed your photo for you.

All cameras add orientation data to a hidden description in the image file called EXIF. Even your phone camera. But your phone has a gyroscope inside that always rotates the image as you rotate the phone. So regardless of how the photo looks on screen that EXIF info still describes the photo as taken upside down. Our software reads the EXIF data and displays the image accordingly.

If you take the photo with your phone positioned horizontally but with the “home” button or area on the left the EXIF will register the photo as being upside down even though the screen on your phone will display it normally. Photos taken with the home button on the right side will show up correctly.

Likewise, if you take a photo with your phone while holding it vertically the EXIF data will indicate that the photo is sideways and that’s how it will display here.

When uploading images for attachment here it’s best to Preview the post after attaching images to see if they need to be rotated. If they do use the manage attachment function to remove any image that displays incorrectly. Then edit the photo (and save it) to display the correct way and reupload the image.

To correct the photo in your post, I did exactly as described in my last paragraph above.

I first copied your photo to my tablet. Then I edited your post, used manage attachments to see the list of images in your post, delegated the upside down one (the second image on the list). Opened your image in my tablet’s gallery. Rotated the image. Saved it. Then using manage attachments I reuploaded the rotated image to your post.

I’m only mentioning this to illustrate the process needed to fix an attached image that displays incorrectly.
