Yarp - New Member with Cambria 30J

Bought this Cambria 30j in February for therapy. Has done wonders. Back in the day, I’d live out of a back pack for 4 to 6 months at a time, this RV life style is INSANE.
Me and Vampirella, my cat, are enjoying our retirement. Collecting our thoughts, exploring new things.
I also recently got my dual citizenship with Canada. Life is getting better by the day. BTW, Cuberoot is the RV and 3i is the toad.
Cuberoot3i is from my younger days, before marriage, brought it back again. Ask me about it some day, there is a story.

Greetings Cuberoot3i,
Yes, I would like to hear the story of your moniker.
Have you and Vampirella watched the movie Renfield?
The Cambria is a great Class C which should work well for you.
Welcome to the forum.

Love the movie. Love Cage’s other vampire movie too. Cuberoot3i is the cube root of 3 is, loosely, 1. “i” in math is an imaginary number. This case 3i. The cube, like square root, is a number times itself gives you the square, cube is 3x. The cuberoot of 3i is 1i.

Now, me, myself and I went on a hike. A long hike. The AT. Me, myself and I are all me, Mongo. All are imaginary. Not a perfect math formula, I have a GED, lol, but I waked out of Trig finals in college and hitched hiked to the AT the went to my new school, U of WY.

Did I confuse you…. More? lol

I believe Renfield is the best exploration of co-dependency and unbridled narcissism I have ever seen. My favorite part is where Dracula explains to Renfield that "he is the victim here!"
Mathematically, I am a little confused. It seems to me that the cube root of 3i would be 1.44225i, (stopping at five digits past the decimal.) I seem to only remember doing square roots with negative numbers in System Dynamics (or imaginary numbers.) Maybe too long ago to be sure now.
Below is the only Mongo I know.

Yep, I was named after him. Blazing saddles. By my college Rugby team and it stuck.

Like I said, the math isn’t right. You can’t get a cube root of 3 but you do get a lot of people still trying to explain it. I’m too lazy so, me, myself and I are 3. They are all me, 1. It is an imaginary number, i. Artistic expression.

Lot of conversation started this way.

OK, I am getting it now.
Our older calculators had an inverse hyperbolic cosine function that nobody ever used. On the calculator, it reads "arccosH." I find that when I really get stuck on a math problem, I use arccosH as a cuss word; it works well!

That’s a lot of words I used about 40 years ago. Now that I’m retired, the basic 4 is all i need to know. I have already let MS Office out to pasture.

Yes, I know the feeling. I have been retired over ten years now, however, I still have MS Office!
Of course, my computer is now 14 years old, and I'm still using Windows 7.
Vintage stuff is the best!!!
