XM Tuner Issue Sunstar 32M

I have a 2022 Sunstar 32M with a Sony XAV-AX 3000. In doing our shakedown trip I noticed the SXM radio would not work and kept getting the "check tuner" message. Did your 32M come with the SXM operational?

In my research I came to the conclusion that either there was no SXM tuner attached to the radio , or if there is a tuner installed It is not working. Either way I want to get the radio where I can activate SXM. If I also have to buy and install a tuner I will need to figure out how to get into the back of the radio to install it and the antenna.

Any thoughts or assistance is appreciated.

Hi, One suggestion I have for anyone with XM or Sony info systems problems is to seek out a professional at a car audio installation shop.

They know not only how to get your Sony removed but to fix any XM Tuner issue. There are at least two in Fredericksburg, VA.

PS. I moved your post out of that other thread on connecting a phono to the Sony radio into it's own thread. When asking a new question it should always be given it's own thread for best results.

Thanks. I replied to the post from Peso because he had the same type and model of Winnebago I did, only a year earlier. I thought he would have more exact knowledge of the issue.
