I just wanted to say thanks to everyone on the site.

We dont even have a trailer yet and I have only just scratched the surface of the site, but I have already learned a lot of great Information.

Thanks to all,

Greetings Jim & Jennifer,
Before my wife and I purchased a Minnie Winnie 22M, we rented all four sizes of RVs available from Cruise America at the time (three different Class Cs and a truck camper.) This really helped us to refine what we liked, and also to know if we liked it enough to buy our own Class C. Cruise America now has five different RVs from which to choose (four different Class Cs and a travel trailer.) We found that by first renting, we were much more confident in making the best choice in what is a very large purchase.
Welcome to the forum.

Jim and Jennifer,
My thoughts: If you are still working go with a used 5th wheel or tongue tow (TT) trailer. You are only going to use it on long weekends and vacation days. The maintenance and upkeep are a lot less expensive then an RV with a motor.

Also insurances are less expensive than an RV with a motor.

You can always up-grade whenever you wish to do so.

Happy trails.
