Steering stabilizer question

Hi, we just purchased a 2021 Minnie Winnie 22M. First trip we noticed quite a bit of shaking when trucks passed and loose steering. Trying to figure out what type of stabilizer is already installed and if it would be helpful and worth it to upgrade to a different type of stabilizer? If so, recommendations. (Truck is a Ford F-350) Thanks!!

None. I don't think the new (or old, for that matter) Ford F53 Chassis has a steering stabilizer. Most of us quickly install a Safe-T-Plus or Roadmaster steering stabilizer.

I've heard that Chevy based Class C's come with one, but it's not all that effective.

I am surprised the new Ford E350 chassis that was designed for the new V8 doesn't handle better. Our 2021 Thor Axis based on the same E350 chassis as your M W handles surprisingly well. But its wheelbase is somewhat longer than that of the Minnie Winnie- 188" vs 158". The length isn't that much different, about a foot longer for the Axis. A longer wheelbase always helps with straight line stability.

No the E350 doesn't have a steering stabilizer. I would first get the front end aligned to the maximum caster of +5 degrees and see how that works. Increased caster angle provides more return to center force while driving and is a cheap and simple way to add more straight line stability.
