Stabilizer seal

We have a ‘97 Winnie Itasca and the stabilizer is leaking. Can I replace the seal? Thanks!

Hi G Culbertson,
If this is a steering stabilizer which is leaking, I believe you will just need to replace the whole thing. After 25 years, its time probably had come.
Welcome to the forum.

To be able to really provide help for your issue we need more info.

What Model Itasca?

What "stabilizer" are you talking about? A leveling jack perhaps?

Assuming it's a hydraulic leveling jack - which is totally a guess that this is what you mean by "stabilizer" - the seals can be renewed and the jack rebuilt by any competent hydraulic repair shop. Just remove the jack and take it into the shop.

Obviously, Winnebago has made hundreds of models over the decades so we pretty much need to know the Year, Model and Floorplan of the RV every single time you ask a question about it.
