Picking up our new (to us) Itasca on 9-11

Thanks for having us. We are supposed to pick up our 2006 SunCruiser 38T next Saturday on 9-11. Might be a bad omen, might not. Past experiences with a MH was a 97 Bounder that was parked in our yard and we used a few times at a camp close to home. Decided we liked it and wanted our own. Wasn't planning on going this big but was a good deal and the missus LOVES the kitchen. Any and all thoughts/ opinions/ problems welcome and appreciated.

Hi Frickinfrack,
It sounds like a great motorhome. Here is the brochure for the 2006 SunCruiser, in case you haven't seen it. Also, you can read the owner's manual here, which might be fun before you pick her up.
Welcome to the forum.

The brochure I've got the manual will come in handy. Thank you!

Just throwing an update out there. As expected, we did not pick up due to needing a hydraulic pump which was out of stock. They got it on Saturday and I'm hoping to get it this week sometime. I feel like a 10 year old who keeps getting told the Christmas has been post-poned! UGH!!

Hi again Frickinfrack,
These days, just a one-month delay is better than average! I am very excited for you & happy camping! Do you have a close-by camping spot where you can do a quick trip and check everything out?
Merry Christmas, Eagle5

Yup, Mary's Fish camp. It's about 15 miles away. We have been there many times with our nephews RV (1998 34 foot Fleetwood). Have reservations for the end of this month, next month, and December. Very excited!
