Cool New Winnie Owners - 2021 Micro Minnie 2108DS

Hi!

We purchased a 2021 Winnebago Micro Minnie 2108DS in January and are venturing out this weekend on our first "shake down" trip. Hoping for a nice weekend. Looking forward to some great information sharing on this forum.

Hi WiscoWinnie,
Yes, please let us know how the first trip goes. The 2108DS gives the option for the Dinette or the extra sofa. Which did you choose?
Welcome to the Forum.

Thanks! We went with the 2108DS that has the extra sofa that folds out into a bed. This works well for us considering we have two small children that don't mind sleeping on it.

Our first shakedown trip went well! We experienced no mechanical breakdowns or problems with our Micro Minnie. With the cold evenings we ran the furnace and used the tank heaters; both of which performed well. Keeping our fingers crossed for a reliable summer camping season.

Hi again WiscoWinnie,
Great news that everything worked well. Sounds like you guys really had fun.
I have the black and grey tank heaters on mine, but I have never needed them (yet).
May you have many wonderful trips and happy memories.

Hiya Wisconsin,
Welcome and congrats on your new MM and it’s maiden voyage. We had a variety of problems on our shakedown cruise, but all were easy to fix. You have a popular trailer, so there’s lots of great info on the forum for the 2108ds. Happy trails, and reach out if you need help.
