New Winnie Owner

Hi All,

My name is Pam. I am 62 and have purchased my first RV in anticipation of retirement in a couple of years. I now have a 2006 Winnebago View H.

I have camped a few times locally and immediately performed the traditional newbie ritual....driving out of the site with my slide open. Fortunately I only drove a couple of hundred feet before I realized and immediatly corrected the situation. Sure it won't be my last error, just hoping not to repeat it.

Looking forward to meeting other Winnie owners in the next few years as I travel. Already appreciate the vast amount of info on this site.

Thanks
Pam

Lol, that was lesson # 1

Lesson #2 - make sure what you put in the sink in the bathroom when you travel can't fall out and roll behind the pocket door and jam it shut....😫
