New UK Member - 1997 Rialta

Hello, I have a 1997 Rialta bought in June. I have completed nearly all the mechanical renovations(belts/brakes/service 7 fluids etc.,etc.) Now working through the habitation stuff. Leaving UK 8th September to Lithuania/Latvia/Estonia/Finland/Sweden/Denmark/and home, about 5 weeks total elapsed time.
I Live in Devon, and hope to meet some other Winnebago owners on my trip.
My Rialta was shipped to Latvia in 2005, and imported to UK in May 2021. Registering with the DVLA, who are moving at their usual cold treacle pace.
Hope to meet some of you on the road in the future.
One cosmetic change, I have replaced the rather suspect alloy wheels with 16 x 7J mercedes steel wheels I have had powder coated white, had lots of complements. Lighter and stronger than alloy wheels and easy to repair.
Regards,
Dr.Malcolm Lewis-Jones.

Hi Dr. Malcolm,
The Rialta is a very cool motorhome. Here is the Brochure for it, if you haven't seen it already:

There are posts on this site for Rialta, some of which might be of interest to you:

It sounds like you have some wonderful trips in store.
Someday, I would like to see Devon and other places near England. I often watch Grand Design, and one can get a good feel for the countryside.
Welcome to the Forum.
