New to Winnebago

Just found this forum. My wife and I just purchased a Vista 29VE and put it in storage till next spring when we move on to our next journey. We plan on towing one of our MINI coopers. Looking forward to new sights and meeting new people. Till next spring I’ll be looking into what upgrades I can get done and getting ideas from this forum.

We looked at getting a Mini for a toad. And we've seen them on the road behind an RV. But the manufacturer and the dealer and the towing guides all say NO. Not even the manual transmission models are approved for flat towing. Perhaps you already know that?

PS. Welcome to the website and to Winnebagos!

We’ve owned three MINI’s all manuals that can be flat towed. MINI doesn’t recommend it because they won’t cover them if a warranty issue arises, we don’t use dealers for them anyway. But from all the MINI rallies we have attended in the past seven years we have meet dozens of people that are flat towing there MINI’s. Most of them use a Road-master set up. Plus my wife wants to continue going to these rallies and it would not work without a MINI.
