Thumbs up New to us 33C

We will hopefully pick up our 2015 Itasca Sunova 33C in southern Arizona next week. It is in great shape, just needs some sealing around windows and vents because of our intense heat in AZ.

This will be our first coach and we look forward to touring the country now that my wife has retired from teaching.

I will be asking many questions about our new adventure craft in the future.

Looking forward to this great site.

Welcome to the group and be aware that almost all us of need to go out and check the sealing on our RV! If you spotted a few places, there is a good chance you need to do a really good look at all places where something penetrates the exterior, especially things like lights to make sure there is a good seal as it make kind of look okay while a tiny leak can let water be seeping in to rot a bit hole in things. Roof and sides both need a good check. Big warning? Don't wait until it shows up inside as that may mean big trouble. Check before seeing the wet!

I see many comments on what to use to seal joints, etc. . Most say no silicone on fiberglass but Dicor and NuFlex are both silicone. Also what do I use around the windows?

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly
