New to Us 2015 Vista 27N

Greetings everyone. We have owned and used tents, pop-up camper, and travel trailer over the years. Researched motorhomes for years before deciding on the 27N. Found a nice, one owner coach with everything we wanted and purchased from private owners 175 miles from home. The biggest challenge getting it home was finding a place to buy gas.

Been spending lots of time reading manuals (and forums) and testing functions of the coach. Big learning curve! Finally starting to feel like I know enough to be dangerous!

Thanks to everyone who posts questions, answers and information on the forum. Can't imagine what I would do without you.

Looking forward to our first trip: Marathon in the Keys.

Welcome! One thing on the 27N, the single rooftop AC can barely keep up on a hot day, you'll want to start running the AC before the inside of the unit gets un-comfortable. It will keep up but trying to cool down a really hot interior can take a long time.

Thanks, powercat_ras.
I think I read an earlier post by you on that subject some time ago. Good info. We never took our 27 foot travel trailer anywhere really hot. Hoping it will cool enough. I'm sure we will learn by experience. Should be fun.

Congrats and welcome! We purchased our Vista In late 2019, so far very happy! Enjoy the shakedown cruise and don’t be afraid to reach out! (And for those of us up north where it snowed last week don’t hesitate to post some pics of the Keys!)

Congrats on the 27N, we really like ours. Perfect floor plan for two, lots of space in a very small package.
