New to us 2009 View

Hello all, Joe and Linda from Florida. We have had a 36 ft fifth wheel for a while but I like to travel more than he does so got a View 24J so I can hit the road alone. And fit in many more places.
I have one small question, there is a small screwdriver with a slot instead of screwdriver at the working end. It is inside the outside storage door by the bed. Driving us crazy, what is it for???

It is for installing and removing the screens over the furnace inlet and outlet to keep bugs out

Yes....(took me a couple minutes to understand what you were describing ... I'm a slow Crow!)

It is the tool used to attach/remove the insect screens from the furnace intake and exhaust on the outside of the RV.

You need those screens to keep flying insects out of the furnace and some water heaters. The screens attach with springs and the tool is used to engage the spring to the unit.
