New to these forums and Winnebago

I and my wife are new to the Winnebago lifestyle. We purchased a new to us (used) 2005 Winnebago Adventurer 38R motorhome. We have been camping since we first got married back in 1979.

Started out in tents then moved on to a pop up and then another pop up before our last unit. We had a 29 foot pull behind camper. We had a hail storm and the insurance company said it was totaled out due to the hail. We had been looking at motorhomes for about 4 years before this and figured this was a sign. So we went and bought a used motorhome.

We have been enjoying this motorhome so much that we do not regret that the bank owns our soles for a little while.

I did a lot of searching this forum before we bought the unit and was happy to see that the forums here were as great as the forums I used for my other campers. We hope to enjoy many years in this unit as it is in real good shape for the year it is.

Looking forward to lots of good questions, but I am not sure my pocket book will let me look at the forums all the time. I already have seen lots of good stuff to do to this unit and I am sure the list will keep getting longer, the pocket book will get smaller and retirement will be pushed off a couple years from all of the good ideas on here.

As my sons said, "SKI Mobile!" (SKI = Spending Kids Inheritance)

Welcome.

The also asked me once when I was going to clean out the garage. I told them that that was their inheritance.

Welcome to Winnieowners.

There's a lot of valuable information here:

https://www.winnebago.com/owners/owner-resources

And you might want to set up a signature similar to mine that lists the details on you MH so we always know what you have. You do it via the User CP in the toolbar.
