If you haven't one or haven't read through the one you have you need to study the Operator's Manual for your RV.

Thank you for your information. I have been reading the manual and the online manual. Question is when I'm getting ready to bring the RV up to drive do i bring the slideouts 1st and then bring up the jacks or the other way around

This is covered in your Operator's Manual.

To extend the slides you start the RV, Put on the Parking Brake, Level the RV and then extend the slides.

To retract the slides to move the RV you start the RV, insure that the parking brake is set, retract the slides and then retract the leveling Jacks.

Looking at your Operator's Manual this info is in Section 2-19 thru 2-21.

I also see that to retract (or extend) the Slide Out your model requires you to turn the power on on your Leveling system to provide power to your Slide Out button. (Here's what your Manual says on this: "Turn leveling system on to provide power to the slideout control switch")

I can remember things a bit better if I have a reason for WHY they want it done that way.
Maybe thins will Help you also?

Both jacks and slides are big power users, so to get them the best power we start the engine first as a way to help make sure they have enough battery power.
Then we want to put down the jacks as that makes the RV more stable and less prone to tilting as we put the slides way out away from the body. If we put the slide out first the whole RV does tilt more as we stick that weight way out and then when we are trying to get the RV level, we sometimes tend to twist the body more and that's better done with the slides in.

So the opposite is true when we pull them in. Rooms in first, then jacks and always have the engine running to get good power to them.

One big thing to avoid if somebody wants to help? Don't let both happen at the same time! Too much thumping, bumping, and twisting is not good for the slides.

I like to have things as simple as possible!

Very clear reasoning; I completely agree with your explanation and logic!

The driver's side slideout on the 2004 Suncruiser 35U is about 14' long and I can only guess how heavy it must be, so putting the jacks down first certainly eases my mind!
