New on the Winnie Forum

Hi there, everyone.

Just registered on this site and am checking-in as a new guy. I'm out in southern Missouri and have an old Class C Winnie myself. I enjoy working on RVs, fixing/making just about anything, and learning, learning, learning... but I'm actually here to research a problem for a friend's rig, which I will post elsewhere.

Thanks for the opportunity to participate in what looks like a great/useful forum.

Welcome to the forum and how about I start with a small point of info that will make life much easier?
One of the big bugs in getting folks the info they need and doing it quickly and easier, is getting ALL the needed info on the first posted question. Folks often do not think of how many years Winnebago has been around and how many different year make model, etc. there are out there.
One way to cut the chase and get your info quicker is to add the total info on your RV to your signature. That makes it show every time you log in and if you want to know where this little gizmo might be or what it does, the readers can know which RV out of thousands and get much closer to the right guess! And it is true that doing the doctor thing remotely is pretty close to guessing until we get more facts!
What part of the Southern Missouri do you mean? I know the area pretty well. I can even tell you where to find Bois D'arc, Blue Eye, and Hutton Valley!
Welcome !

Why no RV year, make and floorplan on MY signature as we suggest for others?
I currently DO NOT have one!
