I have owned a few RV's over the years and have been through a few catastrophic events that undoubtedly come with the RV lifestyle. I hope I can gain some advice from other members as well as offer advice from my experiences both good and bad. I have been a IRV2 member for years but since I have recently purchased a used Winnebago Vista, I thought it would be a good idea to join this Winnebago specific community. Thank you for having me!
Greetings JSA2000,
The Vista is a great Class A. Hopefully, you will not have any of those catastrophic events from here on out.
Welcome to the forum.

Welcome! I have a 2015 Vista 35B, VERY similar to your floorplan. Been a great coach so far, it’s our second Winnie. No real “Achilles Heels” to speak of, just the usual goodies to look out for.

Thank you very much for the welcome. So far so good. There have been a few issues but nothing that's too concerning. It's real hot where I live and driving conditions can be extreme. I've had a couple of OBD codes come up (P2270 and P2098) but no lack of performance and no associated symptoms of anything wrong. Check engine codes can be tricky and I'm fortunate there's no smog check requirement where I live so I don't have to worry about failure. I'm looking for a transmission shop that will take the RV for a service. It burped fluid from the vent on our last trip and needs to be flushed as a good maintenance practice.
