Hello out there, we have a 2019 Spirit 22M and are towing a 2018 Jeep grand Cherokee. We were wondering what to use when towing to protect the front of the Jeep? I'm a retired carpenter waiting for my wife to retire next February

I thought about that but might want to tow my boat occasionally ,are the rock guards mounted on the rv worth it? A simple bra might be the way to go otherwise. Thanks for the links

We’ve had great luck with RoadMaster’s Tow Defender. It’s a mat that is attached between the RV and the towed vehicle.

I think you’ll find as you check this topic on all the RV forums that those with some kind of protection for their toad report that they have no damage In years of towing. But you’ll also find the exact same result is reported by those that don’t have any toad protection devices.

We’ve towed our cars behind our last two motorhomes with zero protection over the past 5 years and 38,000 miles with zero damage to our vehicle.

I think you’ll find the majority of people that flat tow use nothing.

Fair enough, but since we tow my wife’s car, the added insurance of tow defender was worth it. :-)
