Just checking in - 2014 Vista 27N

We are the Craigs from Florida. We recently purchased a 2014 Vista 27n with 20k miles and are still getting acquainted with it. Our first and only outing was a four day stay at Florida Flywheelers in Avon Park, Fl.
Fortunately we have great neighbors who are well experienced in the RV world and they were instrumental in assuring our first trip went well as they are also Winnebago owners.
We look foward to participating in the forum as it appears a wealth of knowledge is available. Thanks in advance for letting us borrow from all of your experiences.

Congrats on the new rig and welcome to the forum! Lots of good folks here and it sounds like you’ve also learned lots out in the campgrounds.

We were all newbies once so as stuff comes up ask away!

Keep us in the loop on your shakedown cruises as well, for those of us up north our rigs are put away and we live through stories all winter.

Welcome and congrats again!

Welcome

I also have the 27n. I have made hundreds of mods, repairs, and upgrades - so feel free to hit me up anytime, I've probably worked on it!

We all have had wet and leaky compartments - so my first tip, before you load it up, is to put a strong portable work light in a compartment, wait until dark, and then crawl around under with a caulk gun in one hand. Every single leak will show up as a spot of light, and you can hit them all with the gun.

Dry compartments are great!

I hope this little cheat sheet helps for electrical:

Key:
on Inverter Power = **
on Inverter GFI = ##
on Kitchen GFI = @@
