I'm New to this group. 2019 Micro Minnie 2106DS

Hello, my name is Randy. We live if Florida.
We have a 2019 2106DS minnie winnie.
I just replace the fresh water drain valve on our unit.
First time sanitizing fresh water system.
I modified the placement of the new valve. Made a bracket out of 1/4" plastic, and installed on one of the cross rails. Installed an elbow in the tank. Came out nice. However, some how I have a leak that I didn't have before. Noticed my belly pans seemed to be bulging in the middle and one was dripping water.
My question is, if I put too much was in the tank by just filling until it came out the tube it goes in. Is there an overflow somewhere or does it just go to the belly pans????

Hi Randy welcome.

Since you are a new Winnebago travel trailer let me give you a heads up about your TT. See you said you have a “2019 2106DS Minnie Winnie.” You have a 2019 Micro Minnie 2106DS. So what’s the big deal? Well, for starters you have a travel trailer and the Minnie Winnie is a Class C motorhome. And, so a 2106DS Minnie Winnie doesn't exist.

I added your model details to your post’s title.

When trying to get service or parts, obviously, it really helps to correctly describe your RV.

Winnebago is at fault here for naming too many vastly different models with such similar names.

As to your water question, if I understand your question accurately, typically there is an overflow on the tank that goes to the ground.

The group consists of very experienced Micro Minnie Owners, with knowledge in all aspects.

You just have to ask.

Hi Randy, welcome to the group.

There is no separate overflow for the fresh water tank. When the tank is full, the water just runs out of the fresh water fill opening, the same opening that you are using to fill it. This is normal.

Sounds like you may have a leak at one of the freshwater tank connections. Here is a picture of the connections on my fresh water tank. This will give you an idea of what your working with. Your freshwater tank and connections will be similar if not exactly the same.

Where is the tank located? I know where the water pump and drain are. I'm assuming it has to be accessed from the under panels under neath the frame. How did you take this picture?

The tank is located directly below the the fresh water fill. I removed to screws that hold the coroplast sheeting to the frame cross member that is located underneath between the step and tires. I was then able to pull the coroplast down and access the fresh water tank. Picture for reference.
