Hi all! New Winnie Micro owner!

Does anyone know how to rat/mice proof a Winnie Micro? I got it home yesterday and exposed wiring and a cloth bottom underneath, just waiting for a rat chew. How has others fixed this issue, I live in the desert so packrats everywhere. Thank you!
