Hello from new member!

Hello All! I hope I知 not already wrong in posting this as a thread. Goal is to introduce myself. Just joined as I知 thinking about the Class B Winnebago world. I致e been working on a SPrinter van DIY build (well, a lot of thinking and some building), but as time wears on, I知 thinking maybe I should trade some money for time and get out there. I love the T1N Mercedes era (03-06), and I知 seeing some campers in van form as well as more traditional RV build (like the View).
So that is what brings me here! To learn and see and contemplate purchase!

Greetings Nancy,
While I certainly appreciate the smaller size advantages of the Class B Sprinter, another thing to consider is the relative cost of the various motorhomes. From the current Winnebago Web Site, here are the starting prices of some of the 2023 models:
Class B Boldt = $246K
Class B Era = $212K
Class B Revel = $210K
Class C View = $196K
Class C EKKO = $172K
Class B Travato = $153K
Class B Solis = $128K
Class C Minnie Winnie = $120K (my 22M starts at $127K)
Class B Solis Pocket = $115K
While my Minnie Winnie 22M is traditional in its design, it is very reliable, spacious, and has huge fresh, grey, & black water tanks. Of course, the relatively lower entry price is what enabled me to stop renting and buy one for myself. Finally, the short "Classic" Class Cs (the 22R and the 22M) can still be squeezed into many parking spaces, which is one of the main goals of owning a smaller Class B.
Welcome to the forum.

As a newer 22M owner I 2nd Mr. Eagle’s observations. We had 2 Travatos, and while it was a great introduction to RVing, we know we needed more room. The 22M is around 3’ longer than the Travato and actually close to the same length as the Era. But the space we have inside and out now is a major upgrade. On another note, the prices of new Class Bs have gone thru the roof because of their popularity. Everything from the fridge to the nicer bath is a + for us. We did sacrifice on the gas mileage, but it hasn’t been a game changer.
