Hello and Door replacement suggestions

Hello,
We have a 33ft Winnebago. Unfortunately when we were sliding out the side, we hit a post. We are looking for places that we can either buy a replacement door or they can repair in the Boulder Colorado area. Any suggestions?

debzedlarkin, you really don't provide us much information such as the year, model number, and exactly what door you damaged. Depending on those you could try:
1) Lichtsinn RV which is located right near the Winnebago factory.
2) If your RV is older, there are RV salvage yards.
3) An autobody repair shop may be able repair the door.

Welcome,
Yes, we need all the info... Winnebago has made a lot of 33' RVs over the decades and we have no idea what you have.

I'm going to guess you are talking about a compartment door, since the front door of the RV is not on a slide. If my guess is correct you could either order a new replacement part and have it painted. Or probably more practical is just getting a body shop to repair the door and fix the paint.

It doesn't have to be an RV body shop... but it certainly can be if you can find one. I know of RV body shops in Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Dallas. But don't know of one in the Denver area.

By the way, this will likely cost much more than you anticipate. Assuming your RV has a full-body paint job fixing anything to do with the paint is expensive. You may wish to use your RV's collision insurance to pay for this repair.

There are a few RV "graveyards" but it can be real hit and miss on finding the exact right part.
