Hello All! 2022 Micro Minnie 2108DS

Hi from Calgary Canada!

I’ve been scoping the forum and found some great info, pre and post purchase. We are proud new owners of a 2022 MicroMinnie 2108DS. Our first Winnebago, but not our first kick at the can.

We just took delivery last week and are getting the new rig all set-up. Looking forward to meeting other owners, picking some brains and providing any input that I can as well.

PS,
Can’t believe Winebagger was available!

Derek.

Hi Winnebagger,
Out of the four possible Sofa/Dinette/Murphy Bed combinations, which combo did you get?
Yes, Winnebagger is a fun moniker. Does this mean you will be coming south of the boarder to visit us all here in the good old USA? One of these days I wish to visit Calgary. Is it nice up there? It really isn't all that far away from South Bend, Washington. We used to play kick the can growing up there.
Welcome to the forum.

Eagle5, thanks for the welcome! We went with the Dinette/Murphy bed combo. The maiden voyage is next weekend and the warden and I can't wait. I'd love to make our way south for some random camping, which is our term for boon docking. I'll be searching the forum for some tips on hot spots in the US, if anyone is willing to share... Random sites tend to be like fishing spots, the good ones tend to stay secret.

It's great here in Calgary with the Rockies about an hour away. We have access to amazing camping on Crown land along the Eastern Slopes from Coleman all the way up to Hinton.

Let me know if you're ever planning a trip to the great white north, I'll give you the hot spots.

Good morning Winnebagger,
I am still very excited to visit up yonder, and plan to do so once I am allowed. My mother worked a summer up near there, and had her picture taken with Bing Crosby back in 1947. She said he was a really nice fellow.
The dinette/Murphy bed combo sounds perfect. In many ways, I wish my 22M had an option for a standard dinette, as the U-shaped dinette eats-up precious floor space.
Thanks, Eagle5

Welcome Winnebagger, Boy that’s a mouthful.

There are lots of 2108ds owners on the forum, many having made dynamite mods. If you’ve got questions or are considering a mod, chances somebody has done it and can give advice. Please add some info to your profile on User CP. helpful to know a bit about your rig when conversing. I’ve saved a lot of time and money by following the lead of others.

Love Canada, hate Poutine.

Love our 2019 2108ds

Hi the 2108ds is perfect for us. Not to big and not too small we tow with GMC truck have gone over 15000 miles. There are minor issues that will pop up so many resources available for answers. Remember too have a great time and you will have great memories of every place you go.
God bless your travels

Thanks Matt,
Those are our sentiments to a tee. We had a 2008 Pioneer 210 that slept 5 comfortably. Went to get a new fart fan from the nearest RV shop and the Warden decided to poke her head into a trailer in the showroom…

Now I’m Winnebagger!

Marine,

First mod is complete...
Fresh tank fill hose needed to be run under the sink drain.
Cleaned up leftover wiring.
