Welcome to Winnie Owners, we are glad you joined us.

If you have the time, completing a signature with the year make and model for your Winnie can help others to help you if and when you need it. And you can do that here;

I'm in Anchorage too. Welcome to the site. There's a lot of expertise here! (not necessarily mine.)

Newbie owners of a 2017 Winnebago View, 24 G

Hello All,
We will be going through our orientation for our new-to-us Winnebago View 24G this afternoon. We have always had motorhomes but we are leaving our 40Ft diesel in FL for the summer season and driving a smaller unit home to Colorado. We are hoping this is a good decision and worried about potential problems. Would appreciate any advice and encouragement about loading it up and getting on our way by Easter.
I'm excited about the possibility of once more actually camping in our national forests and state parks. The 40 ft RV made that practically impossible for us.
Thank you.
Sherry

We recently downsized as well from 40 ft and couldn't be happier, the 24G is all we really need now.
