Finally got our Winnie!

Hello. We are new Micro owners and have made two short trips in it and can't wait to take some longer ones. We do seem to have an issue with propane usage. One 20 lb. tank empty after 3 nights, cold weather, but kept cool inside and didn't run during the day. Should we be concerned about a leak? This is a brand new 2021 unit. Thanks.

Lots of variables on that one like what we each may call warm/cool but I would say blowing through nearly a 20 pound tank seems very high.

Thanks, we thought so too. We have friends with an older model and they have had it for 3 years, only camping a few times a year, some in colder weather, but haven't changed their bottles yet.

At 18,000 BTU's, the furnace should burn less than 1 lb per hour. The furnace should only be running an hour or two, maybe three a night, unless maybe you have the thermostat set too high. I usually set the thermostat for 60. Unless the furnace is firing all night every night, something else is wrong. Maybe the tank was almost empty to start?
