contemplating Micro Winnie purchase!

Hi ya'll, my husband and I are thinking about purchasing a 2017 Micro Minnie 2106DS from a co-worker. (We'll prob need a tow vehicle also which is what brought me to this forum!) ...Looking for pros//cons thanks and God bless!

That’s a really open question. Maybe you could help out by being a little more specific. Are you wanting info on tow vehicles, or the pros/cons of the 2106, or other trailers and RVs to consider? The pros/cons of camping in general?

What kind of camping are you thinking of doing? How often would you go? How far will you be traveling and over what terrain? What kind of campgrounds do you like (e.g., national parks, state parks, KOA, boondocking)?

I ask as these kinds of details can help us help you.

The 2106ds is an excellent travel trailer for a couple. I wouldn’t recommend it if you have kids. It can be safely towed by virtually any 1/2 ton or mid-size pickup. Tell us what make/model/year tow vehicle you’re planning, and the Micro Minnie owners will give you good advice. One piece of advice: since this a 2017 unit, be very careful about the tires. If they are the original tires, you’ll need to replace them immediately. And before you ink a deal, pay a licensed inspector to inspect the trailer, so you’ll know going in what kind of problems you’ll be facing.

Good advice, Jim. Here's some info on inspectors:

There may be other certifications ("licensing" implies governmental oversight) but this one seems to be the most common.
