2021 Micro Minnie 1708FB

Hi, I’m a new owner of a 2021 micro Minnie Winnie TT, 1708FB. We love almost everything about it except for the dinette. It is really uncomfortable to sit in. My feet don’t touch the ground. We are thinking of removing it for comfortable chairs of some kind. Has anyone ever done this? Any pointers would be appreciated.

Hi Kathmandu Pie,
The floor plan of the 1708 Front Bed is just fine, and the Dinette is a very useful piece of furniture. Instead of replacing the dinette, how about raising the floor of the dinette? A footrest like this is only $30, plus it has a cool little infinity symbol on it which should appeal to the mathematician in all of us, right?
Welcome to the forum.
Eagle5

Hi Eagle5, thanks for the suggestion. You are the first one to ever realize what the 314 was!

I always get a kick that the volume of a sphere is:
4/3 × 3.14 × r^3
while the surface area is:
4 × 3.14 × r^2
which just happens to also be the derivative of the volume.
How weird is that?
Are there not some famous mathematicians from Kathmandu?
OK; so here is your quiz question:
Name the world-famous movie that features a Winnebago named the Eagle5?

I hadn’t noticed the name in the movie before. Nice!

I also had forgotten the surface area of a sphere is the derivative of the volume, but that certainly makes sense. Good stuff.

Hi All, so I tried to use a foot rest with the dinette in the 1708fb, now the problem is that the tv is impossible to watch when sitting in the dinette. You have to turn all the way around in the seat closest to the door. (See the floor plan in the thread above) love the trailer, but the dinette doesn’t work for me at all. Still looking for suggestions. Thanks!
