2008 Adventurer 38J owner for a year now

Hi, y'all! Glad to be here!! We bought our 38J last summer after I found it online for sale in OK, just a few short (Ha Ha!) miles from MS. We have a 30' travel trailer, but decided that we'd had enough of dealing with generators and the smaller (43 gal) fresh water tank when we dry-camped at NASCAR races. This 38J had the floorplan that we liked, and the price was good, so we loaded the dogs in the truck and headed out. Since we brought it home, we've done a lot of mechanical maintenance and upgrade projects - new shocks all around, bushings on the front track bar replaced, a rear track bar built & installed, general tune-up done, solenoid on steps replaced, steering gear replaced (loads of fun there), etc. Fortunately, we've been able to do most all of these projects ourselves. It runs great now, even with over 97000 miles. Now that we are both retired, we're able to make more frequent/longer trips even with all this COVID-19 mess. We've discovered the joy of camping during the week instead of the weekend! And, hopefully, some extended trips are in our future - I want to go somewhere with DARK skies! Maybe we'll see some of y'all along the way!

Be sure to come up to Minnesota to visit us! (Plenty of dark skies up "nord"). Enjoy!
