Wiring for awning LED light strip 2016 Journey 36M

We recently purchased a 2016 Journey 36M. The wiring for the patio LED lights has somehow been cut and is just dangling (see pics). The wire that is dangling down goes to the LED strand out at the end of the awning. Anyone know where I might locate the source coming out of the coach? I fear that it is behind the awning support arm that’s attached to the coach, but I can’t see it when looking down behind the bracket from the top. There are two other wires running through the awning arm, but they are in tact and appear to run out to the awning motor.

Well, it doesn't look like you are getting much attention! Maybe too many folks with too much Christmas to do?
Maybe if we talk about it a bit, folks with better info will be along shortly?

So what are you wanting to do? Replace the whole wire or just find the other missing end?

Maybe you need to know which breaker or fuse or which switch does what?
I deal with the drawings quite a lot and we might dig up a few hints but for how the wire gets from switch to outside, it seems really vague!

Click these snips for better view or go direct to drawings here?

Thanks for the response Morich. The wire hanging down (not sure why my pics are turned sideways) is very thin and black. It runs out to the end of the awning when it’s extended. What I’m having trouble with is the other end (where it comes out of the coach). There are two other wires that run out to the end of the awning as well that are thicker and are in-tact. I have looked to see if the other end of this thin black wire is in the arm, but I don’t see it. I’m hoping that it isn’t behind the awning bracket that is bolted on to the coach. It may be that when the wire got cut, that the other end of it popped into the small space behind the bracket that’s bolted to the coach. Sorry if I’m not using the correct descriptions. This coach is new to us and that wire was already broken.

That looks similar to my 2014 Meridian. I will be working on it at the end of the week, I will see if I can tell where the light wire goes. I think it goes into the front arm somehow.

Ok, just talking a bit can sometimes get the attention needed!
We'll hope a closer look at the real RV tells you something.
In the meantime and looking at the drawings as the next best, I see only that they show wiring going into the wall down low??? Not a lot of help and I've not looked at the nicely covered awning you have. Those I HAVE looked at, often had the wires running up the channel attached to the body and they did often look like they were prone to getting mashed or cut!
Just as a cynical guess and might hope I was wrong? I'm guessing the wires enter down low like the drawing shows and then on the outside are inside the channel to run up to the top. I'm guessing that would make it easier to get the RV about finished with the wires sticking out down low and then add them to the awning as it is installed!
Thinking it easier than adding the wires inside the wall where it is pretty much solid foamboard??

Anybody know of an easy way to get the top cover popped off the channel to access any wires inside? Maybe sort out who makes the awning and give them a call would be worth a shot? No chance you have a small booklet in the info bag?

Pure guessing and no experience to back it if somebody knows different, speak up, please?

On picture posting that comes out sideways, I'm better at guessing as it happens often. Probably took the pictures with a cell phone, turned it sideways to better fit the parts you wanted to show?
The picture comes out with info that tells which side is up but on forums, etc, that doesn't work to tell all the gizmos which way is up!!
Very smart computers except they will only do it their way! Dumb as a box of rocks if we don't do it their way!

Here is where the wire goes on mine. There is a channel/chase built into the bracket. I am guessing in runs down that until it turns to go into the body. Where it turns in is the question.

That's the sort of picture we needed. The first drawing I posted shows the wire go through the wall near the floor but I was making a guess there would be a channel going to top!

Do you have the same type cover on yours as they do? Any info on how to remove the cover?
Seeing how the gummy stuff was used to "attach" the wire, I might guess that their wire came loos and got caught on the square edge if they have the same??

They don't make 'em bulletproof!

Looks like I’m going to have to pull the support arm off the coach wall. I think my wire
slipped down behind that gray wire.

The channel appears to be part of the bracket extrusion. Nothing is easy on these beasts. I strongly suspect it goes into the body near the bottom based on the drawings that Rich posted.
