Now that I've repaired the separated side wall on my rig, my big slide needs to be adjusted. I may ask my local RV guy to do it but we will be in MB after Christmas and I know there is a Winne dealer just down the road from Ocean Lakes.
Has anyone had experience with this dealer and would care to comment on their service ability?

Go and see Tom the service manager at Camper Country and tell him that Mike from Workhorse sent you.
They have done work for me 2 times and on both occasions the work was done properly the first time.
I also felt comfortable with the price.
When you're in MYR send me a PM and we'll do lunch.

Driver:
Thanks for the info and the offer. I will be in touch with the folks in MB if my guy declines to try to do the adjustments.
We stopped in Conway last year and had a place called Pet Pizzaz bathe and groom the pooch. They did a great job and wanted to keep the dog...he is a 'chick magnet.'
I'll PM you when we get to the beach....hope the weather is nice after Christmas.

Hey Smlranger, what site do you stay at when you are at Ocean Lakes. We prefer the front row so we can view the ocean from out our front window. We'll be the in May 07 for week. I think May, I'll have to check with the wife on that one. We'll have to look you up Driver and you could "look" at ours and have a burger.

SMLRANGER I have used Camper Country and was very pleased with their service. They are just up the road from Ocean Lakes and accross from Pirate Land. Remember make an appointment in advance.
JDSR Driver is your best bet, no WH dealers in the area. Driver check PM, thanks
bobpie let us know when you are in the MB area, are just up the road. What part of south NJ, we relocated from AC area

This past Feb. we stayed on site 3042? which is a corner site one 'block' off the beach. This time we've reserved 3123 since 3042 was not available. We stayed right on Seaside Drive our first time there but seem to prefer streetside sites in the 3000 section.

smlranger,
Just curious, what type of side wall repair did you have to do on your Journey. As I indicated to you previously, I too have the same unit as you. Keith Pulley

You might want to take a look at http://RVServiceReviews.com. This is the only place on the internet where RV owners can document their RV service experiences. There are over 1420 reviews nationwide and in Canada.

Keith:
The short wall between the living room and bedroom slides had pulled away from the coach frame about 1/4". The screws holding the sidewall had loosened...none were stripped, just had all backed out. This condition, and the fix, is described in a thread about side wall separation by MrTransistor:
http://irv2.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/2486094452/m/1531028602
After I tightened the screws (and added another 24 screws) and pulled the wall back in, there was a gap between the exterior slide flange and the wall. So, I adjusted the retract travel on the slide yesterday and now it fits like a glove.
So, it looks like I have avoided the need for a service visit after all.

Yes, sir! Since Winne chose to put only one #10 screw every eight inches, I added a bunch. I suspect it will stay put now.
