Went to our old dealer at Crystal Valley RV today. They now carry Winnebago. They had a new 2005 Journey 32T $125,000.0. She would not even let me talk to a sales person.

No Journey on a Freightliner chassis. Have been looking to down size some. They did have a 2005 Adventurer 35A for $115,000.0 on a W-22 chassis and full body paint. Wife liked that one.

Okay, Tom, I'll show my ignorance (again).
Where is Crystal Valley? I'm hoping that it will be in the TN area, the other dealers in the area can use some competition in both selling and servicing Winnebagos.
The 125K price sounds like a good starting point for the Journey, 155K for the 35A is a bit pricey. Most of the '05s I've been seeing are starting out around 135-140 well loaded. There are some things we liked about the 35A floor plan, but am still very happy we went with the 35U after only four months and 4K miles.
Tom (and all!), if you are ever in the area try to make it to one of the Music City Winnie campouts. We will be in Salt Lick this weekend and at Desoto next month - and don't forget our TN Vol State Rally October 27-29 in Lebanon TN. We would be glad to have you with us.

Tom,
Take her for a ride in the 32T and I'll bet she changes her tune real quick. The quietness in the front of a DP is amazing - at least it was to us after 6 gassers.
Can't imagine paying $30K more for a gasser. I assume the Journey had few options at that price - which is still a very nice unit. I'd make sure it has the diesel gennie. The standard is an LP unit that, I understand, uses the LP pretty fast. Besides, nothing purrs like that Onan Quiet Diesel generator.
The 32T would certainly drive like a much smaller unit with the shorter wheelbase and bigger wheel cut angle.
Good shopping!

The Adventure 35A for $155k is MSRP. If interested in this left over '05 I would start with an offer 30% less than MSRP, $108,500.
The $125k price on the '05 Journey 32T is a discounted price. The base price for a 2006 Journey 35T is $158,605. With no options you should have no problem negotiating a $118k price for a 2006 32T.
The options on the left over '05 35T would be needed for a more comprehesive price analysis.

OK first I had to make a correction. The Adventurer was $115.000.0 not $155,000.0.(typo) Crystal Valley RV is in Crystal Lake , IL. They used to be just a FW dealer. Now carry FW and Winnebago and some other brands. Not sure if Gen was diesel or propane.
