When we were new, we loaded everything we had to have, then went to a CAT Scale. This gave us our baseline weight which showed we still had 350lbs to reach maximum capacity. We then started adding things that would be nice to have and paid strict attention to the weight of those items. As time went by we started removing the items that we never used. Now we are at the point that when we are fully loaded we can visit a CAT Scale before a long trip and know we are underweight. We have learned less is more! Less weight means less stuff you have to move to get to the things you want or need.

welp... I just posted all the stuff with weights etc. When I went to post it... I was logged out... I knew I should have copy pasted....

None the less, total weight so far is 288.61 lbs in total. Then with 60 gallons of water, at 500 lbs that puts me about 788 lbs.

how do you weigh just the camper on the cat scales? do you know the proper placement of the vehicle and the camper to get separate weights?
