Did this occur suddenly or over an extended period of time?

Had to stop and unhook toad, the hill I could tow doing 50+ now barely do 30 !! Danger and now running flashers We have 45K on coach and never have experienced this
Dealer found no codes and wanted to drop fuel tank and check pump to the tune of $175 per hour....I told would you put a fuel pressure gauge on and see what it is at idle and under load ?? Anyways though I would ask this Forum first

Hi Poodleman,
It sounds like a fuel flow problem. Since you aren't flashing a code, I doubt it is in the ignition. I would replace the fuel filter before doing anything else. That is very inexpensive, and at 45,000 miles, you should replace it anyway. Remember that we have more Ethanol in our fuel now, and that attracts water. Water will physically plug a fuel filter.
Welcome to the forum.

Agree with Eagle5. Clogged fuel filters will cut power, but it will run smoothly. Been there, done that in a car.

Thats the first thing I will check ! I was told by my servicing Dealer there is no external fuel filter ? I physically have not traced all the fuel lines from the tank. Also if filter is not found, I will put fuel pressure gauge on and see what that reads..... like stated previously they want to drop my fuel tank and pull the pump !
why couldn't I just cut an access port thru my floor ?

This may help explain the fuel filter issue. Apparently things changed in 2011:

I had similar symptoms in my 2014 F53 V-10. I didn't realize i picked up a load pf water in my gas. First limped to an independent shop who could not find anything wrong but suspected bad fuel. They added a very good bit of gas treatment to remove the water and then I headed to a commercial Ford Truck dealer (it was under warranty at the time) about 300 miles away. The symptoms cleared up and it ran fine after about 50 miles along the route. The Ford shop checked the codes and saw the stored codes, checked all coils and plugs and found not 1 problem. They chalked it up to bad fuel also. We the proceeded another 3000 miles to home and never had any additional power loss-- it ran perfectly???

Since your filter is apparently in the tank and may be the problem, I'd certainly do that if you can. I did it on a Suburban long ago to get to the fuel pump.

Check out this post, the problem is still not resolved, but the OP is very good at updating progress.
