Turn signal lever 1996 Winnibago Brave

To whom It May Concern
I have a 1996 Winnibago Brave built on a 1994 Forward Control Chassis and would like to know how to remove the switch which is situated on the steering column where you use the stalk to change your lights from dim to bright. I have removed the stalk which merely pulls out of the switch but don’t know/can’t see how to remove the switch as it is behind some plastic moulding on the steering column. There are no screws that I can see holding all this together. Do I have to remove the steering wheel and anything else to get to the switch? Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
As you can see I am from South African where we have no Winnibago agents or anybody to give assistance or advice.
Thanking you,
Johan le roux

Welcome Johan, we're happy to have you here.

I don't know if any of us will know the answer to your question so be sure to cast a wide net looking for answers.

As best I can tell the "Forward Control Chassis" is a GMC/Chevy "bread truck" that also sold as a cut down chassis for RVs.

I found a 1991 Service Manual for one. Perhaps this will help. If not... I apologize:

I see references to a Chevy P30 in regards to this chassis. You might have more luck looking for info on that... IF... it's a valid description.

Ebay US seems to have a lot of Mid-90's Chevy P30 RV Shop Manuals for sale. You might try there:
