Trouble shooting electrical outlet issue

Hello, The outlets in my 2019 Winnebago RV Outlook 27d are working with shore power and generator power but not while driving. I have the connection plugged in to the compartment plugin and coach battery on. None of the breakers have been tripped. The inverter is on. The TV works but the outlets, microwave and AC do not work unless the generator is on. Shouldn't the outlets work without the generator on?

Thanks in advance!

The inverter will usually only power a few outlets such as the TV. The inverter in your coach will not power large power related items such as the roof top A/Cs or the microwave. You'll have to run your generator while you're driving to get power to these items.

The info on the newer Rv is somewhat limited on exact wiring info, but a quick look at what does show up gives us some basic info. It does not tell us how the receptacles are wired as far as a path from point a to b.
But I see you have a 1000 watt inverter. That is the item which uses the coach battery to make 110 AC. I would expect it to power some of the outlets but not others as things like the microwave will need more than 1000 watt to operate, so those will not be wired through the inverter.
However if the outlets work when plugged in or generator, it will not be the breaker or fuses as those would keep them from working in both plugged and unplugged.
A really close check of the outlets may let you find some working like near the bedroom, etc. where we are less prone to plug in high power like a toaster. Possible some work thorough the inverter while others do not. AC and microwave will not be expected to work on the limited 1000 watts.

Usually, the inverter powers only a few outlets. Generally, TV and or entertainment center outlets, one near a bed, one near a bathroom and possibly one in the kitchen.

Since you have a 1000w inverter you have to limit what you try to power with the inverter. Anything that heats up is usually on either the no or be careful list.

Most microwaves use more than 1000w all by themselves. So, that's why they are not on the inverter and your A/C would use ~3x the power you are capable of not to mention that your batteries probably wouldn't be up to snuff for that either.
