Question Transmission Fluid

We have a Winnebago Vista 27N 2014.
The transmission dip stick states you need to add Mercon LV fluid.
My question is about Motorcraft MERCON LV
and Valvoline DEXRON VI/MERCON LV...
does anyone know if they are compatible?

Thanks for info.

Transmission fluid

As long as you use the proper label all the top named fluids are fine. They are made to certain specifications. Make sure before you add any that you have followed the manual specifications on how to properly check the fluid level. Does it need to be a certain temperature and what gear should it be in. Most are checked when the fluid is at operating temperature in park but that can vary by vehicle type. Be careful not to overfill. Good luck. Travato John

Before "topping" off the fluid level, Make sure your up to operating temperature of engine/Transmission and you are on level ground for an accurate level check.

Personally, I prefer to stick with a Straight fluid for the Torqshift Transmission label Mercon LV and not one that states Dexron/Mercon. I have changed the Fluid on my Torqshift (Ford Transmission) several times and always use "Motorcraft Mercon LV" I have had good experience purchasing from Amazon

My opinion is not to cut corners with transmissions & Fluids.

Also run through the gears a few times before checking...
