To Much Bass Sound? Grand Tour 42QL

Just purchased a (new to me) Grand Tour 42QL and the bass in the Bose sound systems is at max. Does anyone know how to access the speaker control which seems to require a contortionist to reach under the corner of the sectional? Thx for any help on this.

There are speaker fader controls at multiple locations.

If it's too bassy from the Dash radio then use the menu on your radio/infotainment system to find the "Fader" or "Tone Controls".

Or if you are referring to the built in Home Theater Surround Sound settings. Do the same, go to the Menu and the Audio settings and adjust the volume on the HTS menu settings on your TV when in DVD/Home theater mode.

It could also be a menu setting on your TV menu separate of the Home Theater but it's all a guess because we don't have enough info on the issue or your RV.

Can you tell us what model year your Grand Tour is? It would help to know what dash radio system you have. And what DVD/Home Theater system you have, etc. Also, when you hear too much bass what are you listening to - your dash radio, your TV or your Home Theater????

Bass - follow up

Thx you for your response. The unit is a Grand Tour 2017 QL and the bass issue is with the Home Theatre system (Bose soundbar (by tv) and subwoofer (under sofa). I’ll search through the various menus, but the manual only refers to a bass volume control knob located on the back of the subwoofer which is unreachable under the corner of the sectional. The Bose soundbar does not have an LCD screen or any way to seemingly adjust tone via an equalizer. Reaching the bass speaker / subwoofer is impractical without dismantling the sectional - crazy.

Thx again for your help - truly appreciated.

Which is why there should be another menu setting for the external audio volume. Now, all you need to do is find it.

Turns out there are three possible sound bars in the 2017 Grand Tour. The instructions for setting up the Bose Sound bar are in your Operator's Manual in Section 8-5.

Here's a link to your online version of your Operator's Manual:

And here's a screen shot of this section for setting up the Bose Soundbar
