Unfortunately, motorhoming is becoming a DIY hobby. You need a doctorate in fixology.

I had some warranty stuff way early on but it's been pretty good over the years. Still, if you can't fix stuff you ave to rely on a very flakey industry with spotty coverage and minimal training. Some shops are really good, some are, well, just not.

Keep trying. Oh, and for OP, yep, if you like it buy it and wait for them to fix all the stuff before you take delivery. Make a deal with them, make them work for it. LOL

Oh ok. Between dealerships are handled by the dealerships.

The original trip from the Winnebago factory is normally handled by Winnebago.

That is a very poor dealer. The dash AC not working is a fairly noticeable issue and should be near the top of the list of things to have working when they demo a vehicle in Arizona or New Mexico. That would be the same as giving you the keys to a new car without a working heater/defroster in Northern Canada this time of year. A good salesman even if the service manager missed it would have checked the coach first and made sure it was prepped to make a good presentation and garner a quick sale.

Just traded my minnie in for similar unit, a sunova 33c. Minnie was pretty much trouble free, maybe the difference is that the minnie had the van front so things like a/c wer from the ford factory where the Sightseer and all class a are just a chassis and motor and from what I understand everything else is added like the a/c and heater units at the coach builders who are probably not as qualified as the ford assembly techs. If you can live with that and let dealers fix the problems that show up [and they can be fixed - don't give up] then you will love your new winnie. Luck! Chickenman

This makes me feel better about the things I'm having to fix on the 2002 Itasca Suncruiser 35U I recently purchased.
