I need to tell this story on an open faced antenna that I set up outside the RV (Portable). In an RV park with very close spaces, very close. Set the tripod up in the next door site tracks. they alternated sites unless they were full and the park was not ful. I must have played with that antenna for two hours trying to align it to get all three dish satellites. Didn't work. Frustrated I went in, sat down, and had a cold one. I glanced out the window and wow it was starting to get dark, I had better move the antenna.
Went out, pulled up the stakes and moved it to behind the RV and put a couple stakes in just in case the wind picked up.
Went inside and had all three satellites. Go figure.
Next time out, after struggling the same way, I quit and went and bought the CarryOut.
